Adrien J. Mazer, MD, is a critical care medicine physician at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Dr. Mazer is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care medicine, and his primary interests are critical care medicine and ultrasonography. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Mazer then earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. Staying in Georgetown to complete his internal medicine residency, he subsequently worked as a hospitalist in the Department of Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center. After completing critical care medicine and pulmonary disease fellowships at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center and the Johns Hopkins Hospital, respectively, he conducted pre-clinical and clinical research in the field of pulmonary arterial hypertension at the NIH. And, before joining Anne Arundel Medical Center, he worked as an intensivist at Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Mazer enjoys spending time with his wife, kids and dogs in Annapolis and on the Chesapeake Bay.
