About Ratings & Reviews

At Luminis Health, our focus is to keep you and your loved ones healthy. To make sure that we give you the best possible patient experience, we partner with Press Ganey to conduct patient satisfaction surveys. Press Ganey administers all parts of the survey and we receive only aggregate data, ensuring that your privacy is maintained throughout the process.

Choosing the right doctor is important. This is why we provide you with access to our patient satisfaction scores, in the form of star ratings. Our hope is that you can use these ratings to help you choose the doctor who’s right for you.

What Ratings are Displayed?

While we do receive and respond to reviews on third-party sites, such as Facebook, Google and Healthgrades, the ratings we display here come from Press Ganey data only. Using Press Ganey scores ensures the data comes from patients we treat. We post both positive and negative reviews. We do not post any vulgar or libelous comments, nor anything that compromises patient privacy.

How Are Our Providers Rated?

Within a few days after your doctor’s visit, you will receive either a paper or electronic Press Ganey survey. On this survey, there are three questions that pertain specifically to your provider:

  1. What number (from 0-10) would you use to rate this provider?
  2. Did the provider show respect for what you had to say?
  3. Did the provider explain things in a way that was easy to understand?

We use the responses to these questions to calculate star ratings for each provider.

Why Aren't There Ratings For All Providers?

Ratings will only appear on our employed providers’ profiles who have 30 or more survey responses from Press Ganey. As we update this data monthly, any provider who reaches 30 reviews will have a star rating added to his or her profile.

Knowing that the overall patient experience can often impact perception of care, we are already hard at work to improve all aspects of your patient experience.
