, What to Expect with Robotic Surgery Patients undergoing robotic surgery should be prepared for the following:Comprehensive Care Team: Your surgical team includes not only your surgeon but also nurses, anesthesiologists, nutritionists, and social workers, all dedicated to guiding you through the surgical process and addressing any concerns.Preoperative Evaluations: To determine surgical readiness, patients may undergo diagnostic tests such as imaging scans and blood work.Postoperative Recovery: Although robotic surgery is minimally invasive, general anesthesia is still required.
