Dr. Sadia Shafi attended Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. for her undergraduate degree. She went on to complete her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Shafi then completed her Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. She continued on to complete her Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. Dr. Shafi is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. She has additional board certifications in Adult Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Vascular Interpretation. Her professional interests include diagnostic/preventative cardiology and women’s cardiovascular health. Dr. Shafi is a native to Maryland. She is very pleased to be able to work and live in Annapolis. Her interests include tennis, Georgetown basketball, and languages.
