Fayez Estephan, M.D, joined Luminis Health Center in the Division for Cancer and Blood Disorders as an Assistant Professor of Medicine, September 2025.
Dr. Estephan was awarded his Medical Degree from Damascus University Faculty of Medicine in Damascus, Syria. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine from MedStar Health System in Baltimore, Maryland. After practicing as an attending in Hospital Medicine, Dr. Estephan completed a fellowship training in Hematology & Oncology from George Washington University (GW) and then served on the faculty for two years. Dr. Estephan has published in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. His special interests are in thoracic, genitourinary, and gastrointestinal malignancies.
