Samah Nassereddine, MD, is an associate program director for the hematology oncology fellowship at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center. She brings extensive expertise in treating patients with blood disorders and cancer. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology.
Dr. Nassereddine previously served as program director of hematology and oncology at George Washington University, where she continues to serve as a clinical associate professor of medicine. She is also an ambassador to the American Society of Hematology. Dr. Nassereddine has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and is a frequently invited speaker at national meetings.
Recognized for her excellence in patient care, she has been named a Top Washingtonian Doctor for consecutive years. Her academic and clinical interests focus on hematologic malignancies, including leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and myeloproliferative neoplasms, as well as classical blood disorders such as hematologic conditions affecting pregnancy and women's health, thrombosis and bleeding disorders.
Dr. Nassereddine describes herself as a strong patient advocate, and she is committed to her patients' care and well-being.
