Dr. Whitehurst-Brown is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist who was raised in the Washington, DC area. She has provided ObGyn care to patients in the Anne Arundel and Prince George's communities since 1990. She received her medical school degree from the University of Cincinnati and completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan. She served as chief of ObGyn at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland. Her interests include alternative and complementary medicine for obstetrics and menopause, operative hysteroscopy and laparoscopy and adolescent gynecology. She is a devoted wife and mother who enjoys traveling, reading, and listening to jazz music. Dr. Whitehurst-Brown, M.D. is a member of the following medical societies: Fellow, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Maryland Obstetrics and Gynecology Society, Medical Weight Loss Specialist.
