Arun Kumar, MD, FACP, joined the Division of Cancer and Blood Disorders at Luminis Health Center in October 2025.
Dr. Kumar completed his internal medicine residency at Westchester Medical Center in New York, the primary teaching hospital for New York Medical College. Following his experience as an attending physician in Hospital Medicine, he pursued fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, where he served as chief fellow during his final year. Dr. Kumar has contributed to peer-reviewed publications, including the New England Journal of Medicine, and is committed to advancing clinical trials with a focus on gastrointestinal cancers and blood disorders. He is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
