Jonelle K. Samuel, MD is a board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist with a special interest in minimally invasive gynecology, uterine fibroids, contraception, adolescent gynecology and wellness. Dr. Samuel grew up in Prince George’s County, Maryland and, as such, is excited to return home and serve the women of this region. She received her medical degree from Howard University in Washington, DC in 2012 and completed her residency training at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Pennsylvania in 2016. Dr. Samuel is a member of several professional societies such as the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists, the International Academy of Pelvic Surgery, American Medical Association and National Medical Association. She has a passion for caring for women throughout their reproductive lifespan and empowering women to take control of their physical, emotional and spiritual health. Currently, she serves as the Division Chief of Gynecologic Surgery at Luminis Health – Doctors Community Hospital, where she is one of the first pioneers to incorporate and perform the Acessa procedure, a uterine-sparing procedure used to treat uterine fibroids. Dr. Samuel is also an Assistant Faculty for the Ob-Gyn Residency program at Anne Arundel Medical Center, in addition to providing prenatal care and performing deliveries. In her free time, she loves to travel, dance, hike, spend time with her family and engage in community service events that educate, uplift and serve the community.

Dr. Howard is a board-certified plastic surgeon with extensive training and experience in both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. He grew up in Anne Arundel County and graduated from Annapolis’ United States Naval Academy. After medical school at the Uniformed Services University of Medicine, he completed his general surgery and plastic surgery residencies at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego and the esteemed Emory University in Atlanta, respectively. He served as the Chief of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in Bethesda and the Plastic Surgery Consultant for the White House during his naval career. He is an expert in the full spectrum of breast reconstruction, limb salvage, and regenerative medicine, and has now joined the Luminis Health team, where he offers world-class care to patients in Anne Arundel County and beyond. He is passionate about enhancing the quality of life and self-esteem of his patients through aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.

Sarah Hall joined AAMC Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Specialists in 2019 as a physician assistant to Chad Patton, MD, spine surgeon and director of Spine Surgery at Anne Arundel Medical Center. She works closely with Dr. Patton, assisting with surgical cases and in the office with new patient consultations, pre and post-operative evaluations and follow-up care. Sarah’s background includes working as an emergency medical technician in Salisbury while attending Salisbury University and then in Baltimore before attending the University of Maryland Baltimore and Anne Arundel ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant Program. She graduated with her Master of Health Science degree as a physician assistant, and passed the national certifying exam. Following graduation from her masters program, she worked as a physician assistant in the emergency department at Doctor's Community Hospital in Lanham, Maryland — where she gained even more experience caring for patients with a full spectrum of orthopedic conditions including spine disorders — before joining the AAMC team. Sarah currently resides in Baltimore where she maintains a very active lifestyle. Her favorite activities include playing volleyball, surfing, and spending time with her family.

In January 2022, Luminis Health and the DeCesaris Cancer Institute of Anne Arundel Medical Center welcomed its first Chief of Gynecologic Oncology, Dr. Nicholas C. Lambrou. Originally from Salisbury, Maryland, Dr. Lambrou completed his residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and University. After completing fellowship at the University of Miami, Dr. Lambrou served as associate professor and has authored or co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and editorship. He has participated in the latest clinical trials in the treatments of gynecologic cancers , such as endometrial, cervical, and ovarian. Due to his early adoption of robotic surgery, Dr. Lambrou has become widely recognized as an expert and instructor in robotic gynecologic surgery . Prior to joining Luminis Health, Dr. Lambrou served as chief of gynecologic oncology and director of robotic minimally invasive surgery for one of the largest health care systems in South Florida. Dr. Lambrou’s areas of interest include the treatment of women with gynecologic cancer, cancer prevention strategies and advanced gynecologic surgery . His focus is to provide thoughtful patient-centered consultation with attention to the highest quality outcomes. Dr. Lambrou has been named a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly since 2013. Dr. Ove completed his professional military career at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis from 1988 to 1995, before joining The Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center, LLC in December 1995. As a former Orthopaedic Surgeon and Team Physician at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Dr Ove specializes in Sports Medicine, especially in the area of arthroscopic surgery and ligament reconstruction of the knee and shoulder, and he continues to practice these specialty in his present private practice. Dr. Ove completed his orthopaedic training at the Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia with emphasis on trauma and Sports Medicine. Additional medical assignments have included a tour during the Persian Gulf War. He continued his Navy career as a Naval Reserve Officer and as an active consultant at the U.S. Naval Academy and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland until 2004, before retiring fully from the military into civilian life. Dr. Ove is Board certified, a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and a member of the American College of Sports Medicine. He holds privileges at the Anne Arundel Medical Center where he is a member of the orthopaedic service. A native Montanian, Dr. Ove grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Pittsburgh in 1978 and 1982. During those years, he became an avid runner, tennis and squash player, and nordic and downhill skier, pursuits he continues to enjoy today.
