Peter W. Odenwald
Peter W. Odenwald
Peter W. Odenwald is the Chief Operating Officer of the Luminis Health Clinical Enterprise (LHCE). In this role, he serves in a governance capacity for several joint ventures and subsidiaries of Luminis Health and is responsible for the clinical Service Lines. He is accountable for the growth and operations of the LHCE, its various companies and service lines. Additionally, he works closely across the system through matrixed relationships to ensure its financial strength and operating efficiency for the health system. Peter came to Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC) with over 20 years of health care management experience. He joined AAMC in 2016 as practice administrator of Anne Arundel Medical Group. Prior to that he held leadership positions in independent and private equity medical practice ventures. Peter has a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Seton Hall University, and a bachelor’s in Economics from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.

Shirley J. Knelly
Shirley J. Knelly is the Chief Corporate Compliance Officer for Luminis Health. She is responsible for assuring that Luminis Health and all its affiliated entities are in compliance with federal and state laws, rules and regulations. In this role, she has oversight for regulatory compliance, corporate compliance, internal audit, billing compliance and HIPAA privacy. In addition, she currently serves as the Executive Sponsor of the LGBTQIA Resource Group at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Prior to her Chief Corporate Compliance Officer role, she served as the Vice President of Quality, and Chief Patient Safety Officer at Anne Arundel Health System (AAHS). Shirley was also the President of Behavior Health where she led the strategic plan for the expansion of mental health and substance use services. Shirley received a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education from East Stroudsburg State College, East Stroudsburg PA, a Master’s of Science Degree in Counselor Education from the University of Scranton, Scranton, PA and a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Corporate Compliance from George Washington University, Washington D.C. She is licensed by the Maryland State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists. She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ). She is a member of the Health Care Compliance Association, the Maryland Association for Healthcare Quality, Maryland Society of Healthcare Risk Managers, and the National Association for Healthcare Quality.

Jennifer Harrington
Jennifer Harrington is the Chief Operating Officer for Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center. In her role, Jennifer drives the health system integration strategy and achievement of system objectives and targets. Jennifer began her career at Anne Arundel Medical Center as the vice president of Clinical and Support Services with responsibility for laboratory, environmental, security, radiology, rehabilitation, pharmacy, respiratory, engineering, construction management, performance improvement, supply chain and food and nutrition services. Before joining AAMC, Jennifer was vice president at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital in Baltimore, responsible for rehabilitation, radiology, sleep services and multispecialty outpatient services.Jennifer holds a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and Sports Management from West Virginia University, and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland at Baltimore.

Stephen Selinger
Stephen Selinger, MD is the Chief Medical Officer for Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center. Dr. Selinger serves as the physician executive for Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center, Luminis Health J. Kent McNew Family Medical Center, and Luminis Health Pathways. Prior to joining LHAAMC, Dr. Selinger served as the Chairman of the Department of Medicine, Director of the Critical Care and Medical Service Line, and Chairman of the Department of Medicine. At LHAAMC, he plays a critical role in medical staff governance, quality, safety, education, leader development, physician engagement, financial performance, and medical director partnerships. Dr. Selinger is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is an assistant professor at Georgetown University Medical Center, as well as a clinical instructor at Johns Hopkins University. He has been the recipient of many teaching accolades over his career.

Crystal Beckford is chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services for Luminis Health Doctors Community Medical Center. With more than 25 years of executive healthcare experience at health systems in Maryland and Florida, Beckford has a proven track record in hospital, health plan, long-term care and health insurance leadership. As chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services, Beckford coordinates with the medical center’s clinical team, medical staff and members of the executive team to set nursing and clinical strategies, and drive quality and operational excellence in clinical operations. Beckford holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mount Saint Mary College and a master’s degree in health administration from Central Michigan University.
