Walid El Ayass, MD, joined Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center in 2022 after he was Chief of Division – Hematology/Oncology at an outside institution. Dr. El Ayass is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Hematology and Medical Oncology. He received his medical degree from American University of Beirut Faculty of Medicine and completed a residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a fellowship at the George Washington University Hospital. Dr. El Ayass participates in ongoing research projects, and is published with several case reports and abstracts, including in Cancer Biology Therapy. His special interest are in Breast Cancer and GYN Malignancy.
