Luminis Health Community Clinics provide low-cost medical care for all ages.
We are a trusted, community-based health care resource that allow us to take care of non-urgent health needs outside of the emergency room. When we find and can treat chronic diseases earlier, we can keep our patients healthier. This also decreases preventable and costly health complications.
Patients at our clinics are uninsured or covered by medical assistance programs – we operate on a sliding scale so that patients pay for services based on their income. A financial advisor at the health center will help uninsured patients through the process and determine fees before the appointment. Discounted specialty care also is available under these programs and for self-pay individuals.
The Luminis Health Community Clinics are not for individuals with commercial insurance.
Effective January 2, 2026, masks are expected to be worn by all staff, patients, and visitors in all Luminis Health clinical locations.
We encourage Maryland residents to use CareConnectNow virtual urgent care for non-emergency needs, and reserve visits to the Emergency Department for severe or life-threatening symptoms. Thank you for your patience as we continue to support our teams and care for our communities.
