The Luminis Health Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency program is a 13.5 month program. Residents will evaluate and treat patients up to 34 hours per week and complete coursework and professional development at least eight hours per week. Our program allows residents to practice and learn in a hospital-based community health system with exposure to a variety of conditions, with multi-disciplinary team work and shadowing. As hospital employees, residents will have access to employee benefits and a competitive resident salary. Both distance and onsite learning will provide specialty level skills for advanced thinking and patient care. Learning opportunities will include cadaver dissections in the Luminis Health SAIL Center, manual skills labs, and physician and surgery shadowing. Residents will also complete a quality outcomes research project to be presented and/or published at the conclusion of the residency program.
Why Choose a Residency Program?
A residency program allows current or new physical therapists the opportunity to further their education. This allows the future specialist to provide the best patient care backed by evidence-based techniques and processes. Residency allows close mentorship and guidance while specializing in a specific and narrowed field of study and practice. Completion of an Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency program allows the residents to sit for the Orthopaedic Certified Specialist Exam.
The Luminis Health Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency program is accredited by the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education as a post professional residency program for physical therapists in Orthopaedics.

Vascular Surgery
Your arteries, veins and capillaries are your body's superhighway. Your blood flows through them to carry oxygen and nutrients to every organ and tissue in your body. When there's a blockage on that highway, serious problems can occur.
What Is Vascular Surgery?
Vascular surgery repairs damaged blood vessels or opens blocked vessels, so your blood can flow through more easily.
Vascular surgeons at Luminis Health are experts in advanced endovascular therapy. They open vessels and remove blockages to improve blood flow in your neck, legs, kidneys and other organs — using minimally invasive surgical techniques. That means tiny incisions, minimal pain and scarring, and a speedy recovery for you.
Types of vascular surgery
Your surgeon determines whether minimally invasive or traditional open surgery is the best option for you. The type of vascular surgery you have will depend on your medical condition and overall health.
Some of the most common vascular surgeries performed at Luminis Health include:
