Cindy Strauss, PT

Cindy Strauss, PT, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Now working as a physical therapist with Anne Arundel Medical Group, she provides home visits to patients with orthopedic needs, including those recovering from hip replacement, spine surgery or cancer. Cindy gets the most satisfaction out of seeing her patients achieve their goals and get back to a more normal lifestyle. Taking a functional approach, she helps her patients fit their physical therapy into their everyday activities instead of simply assigning a series of exercises that feel like “work.” This keeps the therapy manageable in a patient’s busy life and helps them improve their function, activity level, satisfaction and safety (which is especially important with older patients). In her spare time, you’ll find Cindy camping, kayaking or spending time with her granddaughter.
