Annapolis, Md. — Following an extensive nationwide search, Luminis Health has appointed Erica Moncrief as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In this role, Moncrief will provide strategic leadership for information systems across the health system, advancing technology initiatives that support high-quality patient care, organizational performance, and long-term growth.
Moncrief brings more than 24 years of healthcare leadership experience and a proven track record leading information technology, digital transformation, and enterprise growth initiatives. Throughout her career, she has led complex technology initiatives that enhanced clinical operations, improved patient experiences, strengthened cybersecurity, and increased organizational efficiency.

As Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Moncrief will lead enterprise technology strategies that support Luminis Health’s strategic priorities and future growth. Her priorities will include strengthening the organization's cybersecurity program, aligning technology investments with strategic goals, optimizing existing systems to improve efficiency and care delivery, accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence capabilities, and enhancing key platforms, including the electronic health record, HR and revenue cycle systems.

Most recently, she served as Vice President of Information Technology (IT) at Adena Health System, where she provided leadership across all IT functions supporting more than 5,000 employees, 500 physicians, four hospitals, and six regional clinics.
In her new role, she will help strengthen the technology foundation that enables Luminis Health's 6,800 team members to deliver patient-centered care to more than 1.8 million people throughout the communities it serves.
