Cameron C. Stokes, PT, DPT, received Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Psychology from Washington State University in 1993, followed by his Master’s of Physical Therapy from the United Stated Army-Baylor Program in 2001 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2012. Now on staff at AAMG Physical Therapy - Millersville — and a member of American Physical Therapy and National Strength and Conditioning Associations — he helps patients with orthopedic problems, sports-related injuries and geriatric issues, including total joint replacement. In addition to his physical therapy expertise, Cameron is certified in functional dry needling and acupuncture, which provide pain relief for sports-related and orthopedic injuries. Doing his level best to give uninterrupted individualized care, he helps people get back on their feet — to where they were prior to their injury. He understands that sometimes patients plateau in a rehab setting if they’re not challenged, so to help them heal optimally he pushes each one to go farther — and work a bit harder — at each session. Cameron is retired from the military, which gave him a love for the outdoors and physical exercise. So it’s no surprise that mountain biking, hiking, and running are his favorite activities.
