Marla Spring has practiced as a family nurse practitioner since 1995. She earned her Master of Science in nursing from Stony Brook University in 2003 and is nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her experience includes the treatment of patients with complex diabetes and other endocrine disorders with high A1c levels and multiple co-morbidities. Marla connects with her patients to make positive lifestyle changes. She uses the body/mind approach to improving illness outcomes. Her experience includes more than 24,000 telemedicine conference visits for diabetes patients across the United States in underserved areas.
