Jennifer Peterson is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She earned her family nurse practitioner post-master’s certificate at The George Washington University School of Nursing, graduating with honors. She earned her Master of Science in the Clinical Nurse Leader program at University of Maryland Baltimore School of Nursing and her Bachelor of Science in community health at the University of Maryland, College Park. She began her career as a medical/surgical registered nurse (RN) before moving on to work in critical care, including the Intensive Care Unit at Anne Arundel Medical Center. After spending years caring for critically ill patients, she felt called to family medicine to help patients lead their healthiest lives. She resides in Annapolis, Md., with her husband and daughter.
