Craig Trueblood, PT, DPT, earned a BS from Gwynedd Mercy College, with a double major in Biology/Chemistry and a Psychology minor; a doctorate in Physical Therapy from Marymount University; and he’s also working toward OCS (Orthopedic Clinical Specialist) certification. Seeing patients at AAMG Physical Therapy - Jennifer Square in Annapolis, Md., he specializes in outpatient physical therapy for patients with orthopedic conditions, chronic pain and post- surgical rehabilitation needs. For Craig, satisfaction comes in seeing them achieve their goals like returning to a sport, getting back to work to support their family or gaining independence using an assistive device. There’s no better feeling, he says, than seeing the genuine wave of excitement a patient gets when they can sit or stand without pain. For one person that might mean their commute to work will be a little easier; for another it may mean being able to stand as best man at s friend’s wedding — these are the things that matter most. Craig likes to make treatment sessions fun yet productive. He’s a good listener and will work hard to identify the cause of the problem so he can do more than just treat their symptoms — the goal is to help his patients resolve their issue, and help prevent re-injury. When he isn’t working with patients, Craig most likes to spend time with family, preferably outdoors. And, he’s an avid Maryland fan and frequently attends sporting events at College Park.
