Dr. Urban received specialty training in medical acupuncture through the integrative structural acupuncture program for physicians at Harvard Medical School and has practiced medical acupuncture in the oncology setting for more than 13 years. 

She brings expertise in acupuncture from international experts obtained during her extended training in the field with leading masters and educators from Japan, China, UK, Germany and France and across the US. She offers unique complementary techniques to support cancer patients and survivors.  

Her services are offered at the Luminis Health Truman Infusion Center where safe individualized treatment is carefully planned and introduced. Beneficial evidence-based acupuncture protocols and supportive methods integrate with patients’ conventional cancer care. Dr. Urban is happy to accept new patients referred by their healthcare provider.
