Amanda L. Adkins, MPT, received her Master of Physical Therapy from University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2001. She then relocated to San Diego, Cal. where she specialized in treating extreme athletes, such as pro snowboarders, UFC fighters and pro skaters, with extremity injuries. During this time, she also directed several facilities in the San Diego area, from private practice physical therapy clinics to physician-owned practices. In 2008, Amanda returned to Maryland and now serves as director of Outpatient Rehabilitation for Anne Arundel Medical Center where she ensures patients receive the care they need to get back on their feet.
